洪雪儿的脸色有点冷了："Someone who's been trained by Americans for two years should be able to understand English, right?（被美国人训练了两年的人，竟然会听不懂英文？）"

燕双鹰一脸无奈，抽了口烟，转头看向她，吞云吐雾，但是并没有理会她。

接着，就将抽完的烟头扔在地上踩灭。

洪雪儿见燕双鹰并不理她，转而又说："I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else.（对不起，是我认错人了）。"说完，便转身离开。

但是过了没几秒，洪雪儿又来到燕双鹰旁边，手上好像还拿着什么东西。

燕双鹰转身看向洪雪儿，有点无语，双手插兜道：“小姐，还有事吗？”

"Is that clearer now?（这次该听懂了吧）？"洪雪儿举起了她手里的大公报，对着燕双鹰。

燕双鹰见状，也拿起了他的那份大公报："Yes, I get it pletely."（是的，听的非常明白）

洪雪儿点点头："On orders from the boss, I came to meet Chief Cheng."奉老板之命，前来接应程长官。

燕双鹰皱着眉头："Why don't you meet me directly, but you have to beat around the bush?"（为什么不直接与我接头，却要拐弯抹角？）

燕双鹰“啧”了一声，有点烦躁，接着道："I want to see if I, a person trained in the United States, can speak English, right?"（想看看我这个在美国接受培训的人，是不是会说英文，是吗？）

洪雪儿矢口否认："Sir, don't get me wrong."（长官你不要误会）

"Come on, haven't we had enough misunderstandings along the way?"（这一路上的误会还不够多吗）燕双鹰有些生气，眉头皱的更紧。

洪雪儿解释道："Sir, it's for safety reasons. We worry there are Communist spies around."（长官，这是为了安全起见，怕周围有共产党的眼线）

燕双鹰：“I am Cheng Tang.”

洪雪儿点点头：Colonel Hong Xueer.

洪雪儿接着道："Major Chen, your acmodation has been arranged,Shapingba Middle Street No.16 Apartment."（程长官，您的住所已经安排好了，沙坪坝中街十六号公寓）

燕双鹰怕再聊下去就要暴露了："Colonel Hong, can we talk in Chinese from now on to avoid any unnecessary trouble?"（洪上校，今后我们是不是可以用中文交谈？免得引起不必要的麻烦）

“是，请长官和属下随我下船，车已在码头等候。”洪雪儿很有眼力见，立马换成了中文。

“谢谢你。”燕双鹰很有礼貌。
